In the heart of bustling Tsim Sha Tsui, a surreal and dreamlike sea of flowers is quietly unfolding. A Convergence of Dual Japanese Craftsmanship at Mira Place

The centerpiece of Mira ARTvenue is "Flower Hill," a surreal art installation personally crafted by the renowned artist from Okinawa, Mr. Mitsuru Kuniyoshi. Inspired by the marine coral of his hometown, Mr. Kuniyoshi created a unique "Coral Flower" design to explore the theme of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.

To perfectly realize the artist’s vision of a vibrant, blooming world, the color performance of the ground surface was of paramount importance.

The Foundation of Color: Extending Art from Beneath Your Feet

Sharing the same Japanese heritage and a century-long history, Kansai Paint (Hong Kong) is honored to have participated in this project by providing high-quality coatings for the "Rainbow Steps" and the surrounding ground surfaces. This project represents a unique synergy between a "Japanese Artist" and "Japan's No.1 Coating Brand"—where the artist breathed soul into the space, and we provided the vibrant canvas to hold it.

▼ By leveraging advanced color-matching technology, Kansai Paint ensures that the ground coatings perfectly complement the "Flower Hill" installation, achieving ultimate visual harmony.

▼ To withstand the outdoor environment and high foot traffic, we selected coatings with superior weather resistance and durability, ensuring that this "Japanese Aesthetic" remains as vivid as day one.

▼ Stretching from the ground to the iconic "Rainbow Steps," the colors of Kansai Paint guide visitors step-by-step into the artist's surreal world.

Connecting People, Nature, and the City through Color

The theme of "Flower Hill"—the harmonious coexistence of man and nature—perfectly aligns with Kansai Paint’s commitment to developing eco-friendly and sustainable coating solutions. We believe that color is more than mere decoration; it is an emotional medium that connects the city, nature, and people.

Whether in the daylight as sunrays filter through the petals, or under the romantic glow of night lights, the professional coatings of Kansai Paint stand as the silent support for every inch of light and shadow, allowing every visitor to immerse themselves in an authentic Japanese artistic atmosphere.
