信興中心はPanasonicビルという別名でも有名なロジスティクス・センターですが、今回改修工事に関西ペイントのフッ素が12,000㎡程度採用されることになりました。オーナーの蒙先生（Mr. Mong）は香港でも有名な名士である上に大の日本びいきであり、ビルの別称からもご想像できるように日本の会社ともお付き合いがございます。

会議で最初にお会いした時から、“関西ペイントはもちろん知っているよ”とお声を掛けて頂き、試験施工にも足を運ばれ、“よろしくお願いしまっせ（関西弁）”と日本語でお言葉を頂戴しました。

彼は香港の安全協会会長のお立場でもあり、SOGOや国際展示場に採用された関西ペイントの材料を心から信頼してくださっています。その信頼にお応えすべく、12月から始まるプロジェクトに対して工事管理グループと抜かりのない準備を進めている最中です。

Shun Hing Centre, also known famously as Panasonic Building, is a renowned logistics centre in Hong Kong, where the owner of this property, Mr. David Mong, is a very modest successor of his late father, who continues to take care of the ever-growing and soon-to-be 65 years old firm. After some keen competition, we have gotten this project to specify our fluorine product, covering 12,000 sqm of application area. Needless to say, our client has strong business ties with Japanese companies since establishment. Mr. Mong, having stayed in Japan to work at a partnering company for four years shortly after university, naturally became even more familiar with Japan. This is to our advantage.

At our first meet with Mr. Mong, he gave us a full smile while saying “I know Kansai Paint. You are very well-known in the Japan paint industry.” Afterwards, he observed our way of visual mock-up to be convinced. “よろしくお願いしまっせ”, said Mr. Mong as he confirmed to use our coating system, in his amazingly fluent Kansai dialect (関西弁 Kansai-ben)!

Mr. Mong is an appointed member of the Occupational Safety and Health Council, and he recognized that we have pulled through difficult projects such as Causeway Bay SOGO, and other panel renovation works. We will strive to live up to his trust and standard - to return his building with highly functional decoration with our fluorine. We are now preparing all necessary items to ensure smooth commencement and operation.
